London Cranes produced a 5-2 win to secure a semi-final place

In a captivating clash in the Fenton Cup, London Cranes secured their spot in the semi-finals with a commanding 5-2 victory over Ongar Town at Flanders. The showdown, held in east London, witnessed a dramatic turnaround as Cranes overcame an early deficit to emerge triumphant.

Ongar Town made a strong start, taking a 2-1 lead into halftime, but London Cranes refused to be deterred. The second half saw a remarkable resurgence from Cranes, with Rashid Nsubuga and Mathius Sendawula quickly finding the back of the net to turn the tide in their favor.

Despite resilient efforts from Ongar Town, who saw goals from Mofi Tunde-Ojolowo and Scout Bown, it was not enough to halt Cranes’ determined march forward. Isa Mwebe extended Cranes’ lead with a well-taken goal in the 70th minute, further solidifying their grip on the match.

With the victory within reach, Komakech Paito( Deigo) put the result beyond doubt with a clinical finish in the 80th minute, sealing a resounding win for London Cranes and confirming their place in the semi-finals.
