On 20th June 2026, the football community gathers in Oslo for the Coach Kassim Memorial Cup — a tribute to a man who united Ugandans across Europe through the beautiful game.
Known as “Coach Baghdad,” Kassim dedicated over 25 years to building more than teams — he built connections. From the UK to the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and beyond, he brought together Cranes communities, organising matches that turned football into a shared home.
This match is a continuation of his vision — bringing people together, across borders, through football.
