The African Nations Cup UK takes place every year and has been in place for over 2 years as a minority community tournament in the UK.

Schedule: Preliminaries: At Hackney Marsh, Homerton Rd, E9 5PF

• 15th August 2009 at Hackney Marsh.  Time: 11Am & 4:30Pm
• 16th August 2009 at Hackney Marsh.  Time: 4:30Pm

Quarter finals:  19th August 2009 at Hackney Marsh. Time: 4:30Pm

Semi finals:  21st August 2009 at Hackney Marsh. Time: 4:30Pm

Losers’ game & Cup Finals:

23rd August 2009 pitch (Leyton FC stadium, 282 Lea Bridge Rd, E10 7LD)

Time: Loser’s game: 1Pm and Cup final 4:30Pm

Participating Countries:Nigeria, Uganda, Kenya, Ghana, Tanzania, Angola, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Cameroon, Mauritius, Sierra Leone, Gambia, Ivory Coast, D.R. Congo, Senegal and Somalia
