Museveni on the collapsing buildings while more markets get burnt. 

A week had not past when we saw the Nakaseero building collapse while another one along NASSER ROAD in Kampala followed injuring 11 people and killing 2 on spot.  

Three people were saved before the police arrived while the others were saved by the police. It collapsed due to the sub-standard work done by the contractors. 

They dug deep the foundation of the next building [Mirembe arcade] and later it collapsed after losing support. The building is reported to be owned by the city tycoon identified as Geoffrey Kirumira. 

However many people doubt whether he made any loss because after two day of the collapse he was seen cruising a new Hammer estimated to be worth sh800million. 

However when the news hit the ears of His Excellency the president of Uganda president Museveni, he suggested that engineers who carry out substandard work should be hanged to death. 

The architectures association in Uganda say the collapse of buildings in town is caused by sometimes not giving the buildings enough time to dry, use of cheap labour who lack enough skills ,building during night hours, lack of enough close supervision the Kampala City Council whose workers are also doubted in that field. 

Still in the same week, we saw two markets getting burnt [kiwatule market, NAPIA market in jinja] and the timber workshop in Bwaise getting burnt destroying billions and billions of money.  

The fire outbreak that hit the timber work shop is allegedly believed to be done by a merciless person, this was after finding an empty petrol container. 

My questions are why is the burning taking place in only social centers like schools, markets and workshops?

Do you think fire outbreaks and buildings collapsing will come to an end? All your views are welcome
