The Black Ladies from Uganda (BLU*3) who were nominated in the MTV MAMA AWARDS lost all the two accolades to their competitors.
The girls had two nominees including the Best Rnb song ‘Together’ and Best performers. These are the second Ugandans who have lost the MTV Accolade after Bebe cool losing it to the Nigerian P- square last year.
However, the girls managed to perform their ‘fly’ song at the awards though for only a minute and then showed their dancing talents. Akon, Beyonce and Wyclef were among the artistes, who performed at the Awards in Nairobi Kenya on 10th October, 2009.
The girls are to launch their album early next year at the KCC grounds in Lugogo. Their forthcoming album has songs like Nzijukira, Together, Prisoner a duet with Kenya’s Nameless, Where you are, Fly, Kakana a Duet with GNL, Bad gal among others.
