Carlo Ancelotti believes Chelsea's array of attacking talent can fire them to the Premier League title this season.
The Blues demolished UEFA Champions League hopefuls Aston Villa 7-1 at Stamford Bridge on
Saturday, with the handsome success coming just days after their 5-0 romp against doomed Portsmouth.
Ancelotti's men still trail leaders Manchester United by one point, with the Red Devils proving they know the way to goal too as they trounced Bolton 4-0 to retain their advantage at the top of the table.
Chelsea's next test is their Easter Saturday trip to Old Trafford, live on Sky Sports HD1 and 1, with the match a key encounter in this term's thrilling title tussle.
And with their resounding victory over Villa achieved with leading scorer Didier Drogba kicking his heels on the bench, Ancelotti rightly believes he has the forward power to trouble the champions.
Fantastic
"When we play our best attacking football, we are able to overcome any defence," said Ancelotti.
"It is important that we play our best football until the end of the season in the Premier League and the FA Cup.
"We can make this a fantastic season if we finish in the right way."
Chelsea's recent prowess in front of goal means they have now scored an impressive 82 Premier League goals this term, more than any of their rivals in a race which could come down to goal difference or goals scored
"We always want to play attacking football and this is how we started on Wednesday against Portsmouth, with an attacking team, which is why we are now the top scoring team in the Premier League," added the Italian.
"I think we have shown that we have the mentality to recover well and the players performed how I would have liked us to."
