Maurice Kirya's self-sponsored Concert "Maurice Kirya Live in Kampala Concert" which took place on a Friday night, September 2nd at Kampala Serena must be the best live concert in Uganda.
Maurice, who is currently enjoying the International recognition, after winning international awards and having international media interviews with Voice of America, Radio France, CNN and BBC, held his first concert that was slated to have only 500 people at Ugsh50,000 and indeed it was greatly attended.
The Soul singer who is having music projects with Jordin Sparks and Wyclef Jean, performed 
all his songs off the Misubbaawa Album and all his singles on the night as his fans were over the moon. He later on introduced Kenya's Kimani Valerie to perform their duet Village Girl which left most fans thrilled. The surprise of the night was his elder brother Elvis Kirya alias Vampino or Vamposs of the Love to dance fame.

, performed songs like Binadamu, Malaika, I will sing, Beera Naabo, Bemoola, Revolution, , Wooye, Village girl, Njagala Gwe, Boda boda, Stop, The man, Lets Go, If i ever, Woman, Super model, Misubbaawa, Angels carried and Tell me. There were also performances by Tonya and 
Michael Ouma among others. Maurice's stage was Amazing, perfect set up, lighting, simply professional. It was indeed a sensational concert the fans will live to remember. Well done Maurice!
