Channel O Africa manager, Lee Kasumba said in an interview that, “Whether they interview them or play their music in clubs, DJ's are the perfect blend of musical knowledge and popular culture.”
She added that, “Our aim is to ensure that the channel is fully representative of the African continent, so it was very exciting for us to have these DJ's involved in the selection process for this year's nominees.”
