Princess Juliana and Keko Town who were among the other Ugandan artistes like Bebe cool, Maurice Kirya, and Goodlyfe duo of Moze Radio and Weasel that were nominated for the 2011 First annual East Africa awards that were held in Nairobi Kenya emerged winners.
Juliana whose Alive again and Haturudi Nyuma songs earned her two nodes (Best Female and Best collabo) in the East Africa Awards(EMAs), won Best female Artiste in East Africa beating fellow female artistes like Liza Kamikazi(Rwanda), Lady Jay Dee(Tanzania) and Wahu(Kenya).
Keko also won Most Promising East African Artiste beating artistes like Nirere Shanel from Rwanda and Friday John from South Sudan.
