Juliana Kanyomozi (born November 27, 1981), is a Ugandan female artiste. She rose to fame in the late 90s as one half of the girl duo I-Jay, with Iryn Namubiru.

The group's single titled vive la vie was a success on radio waves. After the duo disbanded, Juliana has had a successful solo career and is behind tracks like Say Yes, Nabikoowa, Diana (originally by the late Philly Lutaya) and Nkulinze.

She has also had successful collaborations with Bobi wine on the songs like Taata Wa Banna Yanni (who is the father of the kids) and Mama Mbiire,with Sweet Kid on the track' 'Sirinayo Mulala and with Klear Kut on All I Wanna Know.

She was a morning show host at Capital FM in Kampala.

She has also done a song with Tanzanian singer Bushoke (Usiende Mbali) and Kenya based Burundian artiste Kidumu (Hatirudi nyuma). She was voted Uganda's Fashion Icon in 2008. She is also the first female musician to win the Pearl of Africa Music Awards (PAM Awards) 'Artist of the Year' accolade.

In 2008, Juliana made her film debut in Henry H. Ssali's Kiwani: The Movie.

In 2009, she was one of the three judges at the Tusker project fame, an East African Talent show. At the same time she was working on her new yet to be titled album whose first single "kantambule" is already out. It was written by Grace Morgan and produced by Henry Kiwuuwa of Grayce records. 'Gutuke' Featuring Afrigo's Moses Matovu is also already out. This album also features other producers like Benon of Swangz Ave, and Steve Jean her oldest producer. Other creative brains on this album are; songwriters Silver Kyagulanyi and the hottest songwriter in the country lately Peter "nawe" Ntege (known for Grace Nakimera's Anfukula, Kawonawo,e.t.c....)

Personal life

Juliana is a cousin to King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru of Tooro. She has a son named Keron Kabugo, whose father is Amon Lukwago, a Ugandan business man. In 2006, she was rumoured to have had a relationship with US-based Ugandan boxer Kasim Ouma.
