It was a bright Sunday as the CBS audience were preparing for the Ekitoobeero Concert that was to take place at Nakivubo stadium.
Curtain raisers started performing as they were waiting for the “big three”. Later when the sun had fallen below the horizon, the presenter introduced Bebe cool on stage.
He performed most of his new tracks like Agenze, Ba mugambe, Nasalawo with Chizzo however, before
performing his last song at the concert, he ordered the dj to put down the music and he told the fans that he only knew only to Big artists in Uganda and East Africa at large [chameleon and him] which did not sound good in Bobi wine’s ears who was at the back stage. This forced the ghetto president to wait for Bebe at the steps of the platform.
While he was moving off on stage, he met Bobi on the steps who gave the reggae artist a huge punch that forced him on ground and left the firebase crew to finish him off while on the ground. However, later the bouncers at the concert came in to save the 2008 male artist of the year who was nearly hit to death by Bobi’s crew. He was late put in a van and taken off to the hospital.
Though seemingly, the war has not ended. Now that the kamwokya based singer has released a new track titled ‘wesotinge’ dissing Bebe cool. In the song he points out the reasons as to why Zuena had to break up
with Bebe cool and why the two have failed to make up, he accuses Bebe cool of not being a man enough to met Zuena’s demands.
Last time it was Chameleon against Dj Micheal and now it is Bobi and Bebe cool. Where do see our music now that the “Big stars” have again started fighting. Is the music industry growing?
