Joseph Mayanja known for his stage name Jose Chameleone proved that he is the leading artiste in Uganda in general and East Africa in particular. This is after the artiste was voted to represent East Africa at the world cup finals.
The music doctor was among the African artistes who performed at the Soccer city Stadium in South Africa before the world cup finals kicked off. The artiste stormed the stage together with other best African artistes that featured in the MTN World cup song “Everywhere you go”.
The artiste also had a chance to interact with the other best African artistes on the continent like 2face and Colombian-born singer Shakira Mebarak of the Waka waka fame during the rehearsals.
According to chameleone, performing at the world cup was one of his topmost wishes in his music career. He said musicians do not retire but he would have retired after the performance since he has moved to legacy.
