London Simba (4) London Cranes (3)
The game did not start well for cranes, when they conceded five minutes after kick off following a long ball to Mathias Ndawula. Cranes soon discover Simba’s plan which to “keep launching long ball forward” .
Cranes quickly put a stop on the long ball threat when Sulah Kasule man-marked Mathias. Cranes gained its composer, with their short and cool passing soon equalised from a free kick, excellently taken by Fred Kalyango. Soon Cranes gained the lead (1-2) from Bright Wahabu's a superb left drive. Ten minute from the end of first-half Bright scored his second to give cranes 1-3 lead.
Late in the second half Simba’s dull long ball plan became more effective when Cranes lost it defending mid-fielder Gilbert Lubega following an ankle inquiry. This combined with some sloppy defending and tiredness allows Simba to gain the lead making it 4-3 on the final whistle.
